Galesburg Residents Arrested for Meth in Warren County
Three Galesburg residents are in trouble with the law not far from home after they allegedly were caught with a key ingredient in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards says deputies stopped a vehicle around midnight Friday night on an unidentified road west of Galesburg near the Knox/Warren County line, but left the area as the deputy approached it on foot.

Edwards says the vehicle was stopped inside Knox County shortly thereafter, and after a container with suspected anhydrous ammonia was in it.

Edwards says 36-year old Phillip Kilgore, 36-year old Jeffrey Joseph, and 24-year old Torrie Hillier were all arrested on felony charges of tampering with anhydrous ammonia, and possession of the chemical.

Hillier also faces a charge of fleeing and eluding.

The three are being held in the Knox County Jail pending bond hearings and future court appearances.
