15 Arrested in Undercover Ingestigation
FIRST REPORTED 6:00am 8/8/10 After a three month undercover investigation, 15 people have been arrested.

According to a press release from the Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group, law enforcement officials made multiple arrests on drug related charges as of Friday.

Officers from the Galesburg Police Department, Knox County Sheriff's Department, and State Police began rounding the suspects up last week.

The accused, all but one from Galesburg, were arrested on warrants for alleged involvement in selling drugs to MEG agents.

Ages of the 15 people arrested range from 21 to 55. Charges included unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance among others.

A 29-year old Chicago man was also arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis.

All were taken to the Knox County Jail were they await court appearances.
