Movie Extra Injured During Action Shoot
HAMMOND, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana State Police say a movie extra at a ``Transformers 3'' production site was injured during the filming of a stunt.

Authorities say the ``Transformers 3'' crew was filming the stunt late Wednesday in Hammond using several vehicles and drivers when something went wrong and an object went through the windshield of a car, hitting the driver. The driver was the owner of the car and an extra for the movie.

The driver's identity was withheld pending notification of relatives.

In a statement, Indiana State Police say the auto, which was moving at the time, kept going for a mile before coming to a halt. The occupant was airlifted to Loyola Medical Center in the Chicago suburb of Maywood.

A hospital administrator, who refused to identify herself, said she had no information on the victim of the accident, nor the extent of the victim's injuries.
