Thousands of Dollars in Drugs Seized in Warren/Henderson County
More than $100,000 worth of cannabis and cocaine were seized in rural Warren County Thursday.

The 137 marijuana plants were found in the corner of a farm field in a wooded area near the Warren and Henderson County line.

Police officials also searched the Biggsville home of 36 year old Barton Kidwell nearby, according to a press release.

At the home police found two pounds of pot, 24 grams of cocaine and four firearms.
Kidwell was arrested and charged with unlawful possession with the intent to deliver more than 5,000 grams of cannabis and unlawful production of cannabis plants.

Kidwell also faces similar charges in Henderson County. He awaits a court appearance in Warren County Court.

Members of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, West Central Illinois Task Force, Illinois State Police, Monmouth Police Department, and Henderson and Warren County Sheriff's Departments all assisted in the search and seizure.
