Ag Expo Draws Farmers to Fair
The Ag Expo at the Du Quoin State Fair is making it easier for farmers to check out new equipment.

It also gives the non-farming public a taste of farming and the changing technology. Tim Emerick, the man in charge of this year's Ag Expo display on the fairgrounds, says farm tools and equipment are constantly changing. "It gives the folks who maybe aren't necessarily involved in agriculture [a chance] to see what some of the modern technology is with agriculture," Emerick said.

The Ag Expo has been going on for roughly 15 years, Emercik says. There are over 100 tractors at this year's Ag Expo.
