Brady Has Slim Lead Over Quinn in Governor Race
CHICAGO (AP) -- A new poll shows voters prefer Republican gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady by a slim margin over Illinois Governor Pat Quinn.

The Chicago Tribune/WGN-TV poll shows 37 percent support Brady compared to 32 percent who support Quinn. The poll says 19 percent are undecided.

The telephone poll of 600 registered voters statewide has an error margin of 4 percentage points. Those polled were picked in a random sample and were questioned between Aug. 28 and Sept. 1.

About half disapprove of Quinn's job performance since he replaced former Governor Rod Blagojevich last year. About 26 percent have a good impression of Quinn and 70 percent don't like how Quinn has performed on reforming government.

But 4 in 10 don't have an opinion of Brady and only 19 percent have an unfavorable opinion of him.
