Bradley University Debuts Kosher Menus
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Bradley University in Peoria is debuting certified kosher foods at the school's cafeterias and food courts this fall.

The central Illinois school says it will offer kosher sandwiches, salads and frozen foods. School officials say the sandwiches and salads prepared in a kosher kitchen sold out
the first day they were available.

Bradley Hillel faculty adviser Seth Katz says the effort gives Jewish students ``a new option for college.'' School officials say offering food for students who observe Jewish dietary laws can be attractive to prospective students.

The food also is a convenience for students with special dietary or religious needs.
Bradley says Rabbi Eli Langsam of Chabad Lubavitch of Peoria has certified the food.
