Cyclists Take Over Galesburg
This Saturday cyclists will take a 42 mile bike ride around three lakes in Galesburg and the surrounding areas. The three lakes ride is being hosted by a group that calls themselves COG or Cyclist of Galesburg.

Alderman and COG member Jeremy Karlin tells the WGIL Morning News the three lake ride has attracted a number of people who are interested in riding and he sees big things in the future for the group.

"It's good stuff and it's been amazing response. We thought that we wouldn't be at this point at this part of COG's progression and we've got 65 people already who knows a hundred next year."

The ride will roll out at 8 o'clock Saturday morning at Lake Storey Pavilion and head to Lake Bracken and Lake Rice ending the 42 mile journey back at Lake Storey.

If you are interested in joining the ride you can find registration forms on the COG Facebook page along with information about the group.
