Knox County Farm Bureau Manager Resigns
WGIL received word late last week that Knox County Farm Bureau manager Adam Fisk has resigned from his position. Fisk reportedly gave little notice of his intentions to leave the job. He was hired in June after a brief search to replace Josh Gibb, and began his duties on July 7th. Fisk was a Fulton County native who spent 4 years in the U.S. navy before getting his degree from Spoon River College and Western Illinois University, specializing in livestock management.

Knox County Farm Bureau Board President Rob Link of Gilson said Monday that the board is scheduled to meet Thursday night, and will discuss the plans for seeking a replacement for Fisk. No reason was cited for Fisk's departure.
