Burglary to Galesburg Nail Salon
Galesburg Police say several thousand dollars worth of items were taken from a business in the new Seminary Square Shopping Center within the last day or so.

Police say investigators were called to VIP Nails on Knox Square Drive around 5:50am Friday. They say the store's front door had been shattered by some sort of blunt object, and determined that the business had been ransacked. Officers believe a $2,100 laptop computer had been stolen, along with a 32-inch TV, along with several hundred dollars in cash.

No suspects are in custody, but say anyone with information should call Galesburg Police or the Galesburg-Area CrimeStoppers hotline.
