Search of Abingdon Residence Leads to Man's Arrest on Methamphetamine Charges
POSTED 9:47am, UPDATED 4:36pm 10/8/9 A raid at an Abingdon residence by authorities from four different agencies is resulting in several preliminary felony charges against a man who lives there.

The Knox County Sheriff's Department says 46-year old Mitchell Yoho was arrested around 3:40 p-m Tuesday after authorities conducted a search warrant at his home at 206 North Jefferson Street.

Knox and Warren County deputies, agents from the Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group and Abingdon police were involved in the search. Authorities say they seized 1.6 grams of methamphetamine, 100 grams of crushed pseudoephedrine pills, precursors and other items used to make meth, crack cocaine, cannabis, three digital scales and a loaded 9-millimeter handgun.

Officials say Yoho is charged with aggravated participation in methamphetamine production, possession of meth manufacturing materials, unlawful possession of meth, unlawful possession of meth precursors and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Police say the investigation continues.
