Sheriff: More Arrests Unlikely in Beason Slayings
LINCOLN, Ill. (AP) -- The Logan County sheriff says he doesn't expect any more arrests now that two brothers have been charged with killing a family of five in the little town of Beason.

Sheriff Steven Nichols said Friday that he's confident they've caught the people responsible for killing the Gee family.

Nichols says investigators think they know why the family was killed, but he won't discuss the motive.

Raymond "Rick" Gee, his wife Ruth and three of their children were found dead last month, killed by blunt-force trauma.

Authorities have charged Christopher Harris, who was once married to one of Raymond Gee's daughters, and Harris' younger brother Jason.

Beason lies about 35 miles northeast of Springfield.
