Galesburg Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Dealing Crack Cocaine
POSTED 10:51am 10/9/9 A Galesburg man accused of dealing drugs late last year will spend several years in federal prison.

Documents from U-S District Court in Peoria indicate 39-year old Parish Zolicoffer was sentenced Thursday on one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. Zolicoffer received 10 years in prison followed by 8 years of mandatory supervised release.

The count Zolicoffer pleaded guilty to alleged he distributed more than five grams of crack cocaine in Knox County in December of 2008. He was indicted the following month and entered into a plea agreement in April.

Court documents also indicate Zolicoffer was on supervised release from prison for a conviction related to a 2002 federal drug offense when he was arrested in the most recent case.
