Family Reacts to Illinois-Indiana Shootings
CRETE, Ill. (AP) -- An Illinois family with a unique perspective has reacted to the recent arrest of a small town police officer for the seemingly random shootings of three people around the Illinois-Indiana border.

Ken and Sherry Drapeau's teenage son, Dylan, died in a 2006 crash that involved the shooting suspect, Brian Dorian.

Authorities arrested Dorian Friday. He's accused of killing one person and wounding two others.

Dorian was convicted for speeding after the 2006 accident in which his vehicle hit a truck driven by Dylan Drapeau. The teen's family had pushed for more serious charges.

In a Saturday statement, the Drapeaus say they saw the kind of man Dorian is after their son's death. The Crete couple say Dorian never displayed any remorse over their son's death.
