Inquest Rules Abingdon Tean Deaths Accidental
A Coroner's inquest was held last night into the deaths of two Abingdon teenagers.

17 year old Mason Behymer and 16 year old Kyle Myers were killed in July after being struck by a train.

Testimony during the inquest revealed the boys had been drinking and possibly thinking about running away the night before they were killed. That after Mason got into an argument with his mother.

The two had decided to walk along the railroad tracks from Abingdon to Galesburg.
At some point, however, the two had laid down on the crossing intersection on county road 940 North, parallel to the tracks.

Around 8:00 am on July 8th the boys were struck by a BNSF Freight train. Video footage from the train showed the boys laying on the tracks.

After hearing, a jury of six determined the deaths were caused by the train accident, but it was indeed that, accidental.
