Man Arrested at Amtrak Station on Drug Charges
A California man is in trouble in Galesburg after drugs were allegedly found on him as he left the Amtrak station downtown.

The Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group is just now releasing details on the arrest, even though it happened on Friday.

Officials say Galesburg Police and MEG officers went to the Amtrak station just after noon Friday, as 22 year old Anthony Villareal of Norwalk, California, was leaving.

Officials say agents seized over 450 grams of a substance they say is cannabis.

Villareal faces charges of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and was taken to the Knox County Jail

Knox County Circuit Court records on Villareal, however, were not available Tuesday afternoon.
