Woman Dies in Warren County Car Accident
A Moline woman has died due to injuries from a car accident in Warren County. 50 year old Penny McKinney-Green was traveling eastbound on 116 when her truck was hit head-on by a SUV.

The SUV was driven by 21 year old Arsenio Mims of Macomb. He, along with one passenger, 28 year old Dennis Brady the Third of Chicago, was transported to Cottage Hospital in Galesburg for minor injuries. Mim’s other three passengers received no injuries.

The accident occurred about five miles east of Roseville around 6:30 Saturday morning.

According to police reports, Mims lost control of his vehicle due to water on the road from rain and traveled into to the eastbound lane, striking McKinney-Green’s vehicle. He was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.

She had one passenger,55 year old MaryAnn McKinny of Aledo, who was taken to Cottage Hospital. Her condition is not known at this time.

McKinney-Green was transported to OSF Holy Family in Monmouth were she where she later died as a result of her injuries.
