"Rally to Restore Sanity" Coming to Chicago, Galesburg
CHICAGO (AP) -- Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are holding their dueling political rallies in Washington this weekend, but supporters in Chicago are getting in on the action, as will some in Galesburg.

A satellite rally is set for Saturday in downtown Chicago's Grant Park.

Stewart, host of "The Daily Show," will hold the "Rally to Restore Sanity" on the National Mall. Colbert of "The Colbert Report" will host the "March to Keep Fear Alive."

Stewart has billed his event as the "million moderate march."

Chicago organizers say their rally is a chance to discuss "politics, religion and personal issues without hate speech."

Parts of the Washington rally will be broadcast in Chicago.

Chicago's event will feature political activists, performers and advocates.

In addition, Galesburg's Stone Alley Books and Collectibles on South Seminary Street says it's hosting a broadcast of the rally Saturday between 11 am and 2 pm.
