Quinn Says Brady Learning Toward Moderate Views
(IRN)-The Republican candidate for governor is coming off as a moderate, according to his Democratic opponent.

Governor Pat Quinn says State Senator Bill Brady is talking more and more like a moderate the closer to Election Day we come.

Speaking after visiting volunteer union workers at a phone bank, Quinn told reporters that "It's near Halloween and there's no question that Senator Brady is trying to have an extreme makeover," Quinn said. "I think he's trying to play the role of a moderate when he's had a lifetime role of being an extreme person on all kinds of issues. He wants to cut the minimum wage, he's opposed to the right of choice."

Quinn says Brady has consistently been against things like free mammograms for women and equal pay for equal work.

Brady says it's just typical antics by the governor. Brady says he has voted in favor of mammogram screening and other social issues.
