Apple Heads React To Apple Leader's Death
A computer nut who has worked with digital workflow management for almost 20 years says despite all of the programing and desktops he's come across, there's no hiding his apple head status.

Ted Bevenour's Big Sky Consulting is based in Galesburg, but with clients spread worldwide. He tells WGIL there's only one word to describe the compelling role Steve Jobs had with Apple.

"Innovation, and I know that's a word that's going to be beat into the ground as we talk about Steve over the next couple of weeks," Bevenour said. "But it's a true point of fact that the man was forward thinking and often times before his time."

Bevenour says Jobs was a man willing to take risks, and Apple felt his views were too radical and therefore let him go early on.

He says when Apple began to fail as a company without Jobs, they brought him back. The iPod exploded onto the scene then according to Bevenour. He says other tech companies are still trying to catch up to the gadgets introduced by Jobs.

Jobs passed away Wednesday at the age of 56, a month and a half after resigning as CEO of Apple.
