Civic Authority Board Sees Great Attendance
The Knox County Civic Authority Board met yesterday to discuss budgets and next year's Red Carpet shows.

Total attendance to date for 2012 was just under 15-thousand.

There are 23 shows between the symphony concert and December 22nd at the Orpheum Theatre.

Managing Director at the Orpheum Josh Damewood tells WGIL they're starting to feel the pressure.

"We currently have I believe ten shows on sale right now and our next red carpet series is actually next Friday. We started feeling the busyness yesterday actually but its been been fun but we're looking forward to a great season and to end the year."

There are seven Red Carpet shows planned for the 20-13 season - among which is Swan Lake.

Several board members also attended a conference to assist in attracting new performers to the Orpheum Theatre.
