Distric 205 Makes A Budgetary Decision
District 205 has decided to move forward with a budget proposal involving a new multipurpose athletic facility at Galesburg High School. The 14 thousand square foot facility is expected to be built in 2014.

Assistant Superintended for Finance Guy Cahill says this will attract new students to the district.

"There's a strong correlation between communities that invest in their public infrastructure and people being attracted to the community because people see that their community is investing in that infrastructure trying to improve the community and as a result they say may that's were I want to locate my home."

Now that a budget has been set, the next step is to create schematics for the facility.
