The Main Street Overpass is Nearing Competion
For the last year, the Main Street overpass has been under construction.

City engineer Wayne Carl announced yesterday on WGIL that a ribbon cutting ceremony date has been set for October 26th.

Carl tells theWGIL morning news the job isn't quite done yet

"Currently they've got all the pavement poured that they have to pour on the project which is great. It's an good milestone to get done. They still have some walls to pour in concrete yet but they expect to all those poured out by the end of next week."

Carl went on to say the October 26th grand opening should allow for any unexpected weather events.
