Illinois Ag Director Confident in Good Harvest
It'll be a late harvest, but Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Tom Jennings says it'll still be a good harvest.

Harvest progress on corn and soybeans is way behind schedule, but Jennings remains optimistic that the yields will be as high as expected, and that quality will be good. He says another delay could come as the grain storage system handles soggy corn and soybeans, and has to take longer to dry everything out.

He's more concerned about safety, saying motorists must be patient when they see machinery on the roads, and understand that the crops have to be harvested whether it's November or December.
