Suspect Arrested in East St. Louis Triple Homicide
EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) -- Investigators believe a man accused of killing three women at an East St. Louis gas station acted alone.

The suspect was arrested Sunday in St. Louis after an intensive manhunt.

He's accused of shooting the three women Saturday night as they sat in a car at the Crown Food Mart with at least two children. None of the children were injured.

The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Canikia Harvey, 26-year-old Raykel Gathing and 24-year-old Jaimaca McDaniel, all of East St. Louis

It was not immediately clear how the women were related to the children.

Illinois State Police Lt. James Morrisey says at least one victim was an acquaintance of the gunman, though the precise relationship was not clear.
