Woman Leads Police on Chase into Monmouth
The Warren County Sheriffs Department says an investigation into a chase that started in a lot at a local plant and ended in Monmouth is continuing.

Sheriff Martin Edwards says deputies received a report around 1:15 Tuesday afternoon of a person driving erratically on property belonging to Monsanto southeast of Monmouth on 80th Street.

Edwards says employees stopped the female driver, but that she left and continued to drive through other fields.

He says a deputy then responded and tried to get the vehicle to stop, but eventually gave chase on into Monmouth, stopping near Monmouth-Roseville High School at Broadway and North "D" Streets after Monmouth police and other emergency vehicles blocked her patch.

Edwards says the driver was taken to a Monmouth hospital for a medical evaluation.

Her name isn't believe released, and it's not clear if any arrests have been made.
