HOYLETON, Ill. (AP) -- Services are scheduled for two Illinois servicemen killed last week in Afghanistan.

Marine Staff Sgt. Jordan Emrick's funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in his hometown of Hoyleton. The 26-year-old serviceman was killed last Friday after being hit by a roadside bomb.

Emrick joined the Marines in 2002 and had been serving with a company from Camp Pendleton in California. He was a graduate of Nashville High School in Illinois' Washington County.

Services for Army Cpl. James Young of Rochester will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Staab Polk Memorial Home in Chatham. He was killed when insurgents attacked his vehicle with an explosive device Nov. 3.

Young was a combat engineer who was serving his second deployment in Afghanistan.
