Gas Prices Increasing Again
(IRN) -- The price of gasoline is on its way up, which is not the normal direction for the price of gas at this time of year, says Beth Mosher of the AAA Chicago Motor Club. "No, certainly not," she says. "We see a little bit of a bump around Thanksgiving, typically, but this is really high for this time of year."

The Illinois average for November is $3.02, according to the monthly AAA survey. That's up 10 cents from October, and up 28 cents from this time last year.

Mosher attributes the increase to a small refinery fire in Lemont that is crimping supply in the Midwest, as well as a weaker dollar, making imported oil cost more.
