Quinn Makes Final Push Before Election Day
(IRN)-Governor Pat Quinn is making his sprint toward the Election Day finish line.

That's how he described it, as he attended a Halloween Fun Fest in Westmont, which is two train stops from his boyhood hometown of Hinsdale, as he recalled his high school days 45 years prior. "I used to run cross country and track," he said. "When you're a long distance runner, you've gotta run hard, and when you come near the finish line, the last 800 meters, you've gotta sprint, and that's what I'm doing, sprinting."

Off a big Saturday night rally in Chicago with President Obama, Quinn had breakfast with the president Sunday morning, then made stops at churches in Chicago and the suburbs, went trick or treating with his nieces and nephews in Naperville, and hit another church event in Chicago.

Monday, he flies, with stops in Rockford, Moline, Peoria, Champaign, Sauget and Murphysboro, capped by a torchlight rally outside his campaign office in Chicago.
