Election Judges Put in Long Dedicated Day
Election day means people are heading to the polls.
It also means a long day for elections judges working at each poling place.

But JoEllen Waymoth tells WGIL she has been an election judge for more than three years, and doesn't mind the work.

"Well my mom has done it for about five or six years, she's at Bethal Baptist and so she kind of got me talked into it and I was a Maytag displaced worker and I wanted something to open up my brain instead of being brain dead all the time, you know to rejuvenate everything and I really enjoy it, I love the people I work with."

Waymoth was working at the Knox County Health Department for precincts 23 and 29.
Galesburg has 31 precincts with 15 polling places this year.
