2 Facing Murder Charges in Hit and Run Death
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) -- Authorities in the central Illinois city of Bloomington say two local men are facing murder charges in a hit and run that fatally injured a man from nearby Normal.

Radio station WJBC reports that 20 year old Frankie Trimby appeared Thursday before a McLean County judge via video conference. He faces three counts of murder in the Sunday hit and run.

Police say the second man, 23 year old David Boswell, will also face murder charges when he is extradited from Clarksville, Tenn., where he was arrested on a homicide warrant and is being held on $2 million bond.

Police say the victim, 48 year old Mark Olson, was volunteering Sunday with clean up at a Bloomington festival when he was hit by a truck.

Officers say Olson was at a warehouse storage facility when he may have interrupted a burglary. He died Monday at a local hospital.
