IL Woman Who Killed Ex-Husband With Car is Free
PEKIN, Ill. (AP) -- A woman who'd pled guilty to first degree murder for running down her ex-husband with a car is free from custody after being convicted of a less serious charge at a retrial.

A jury convicted Krystle McGlothlin of reckless homicide Wednesday.
She had already served four years in prison for the 2006 death of her ex-husband, Dennis McGlothlin.

Dennis McGlothlin died three days after he was run down in the parking lot of his girlfriend's apartment.

Krystle McGlothlin pled guilty to murder charges two days into her first trial in 2007 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

But an appellate court threw out that conviction earlier this year after ruling that the trial judge didn't properly admonish her about the terms of parole after she served her sentence.
