Police Continue to Investigate Second WIU Bomb Threat
Western Illinois University is urging the public's help in figuring out who might have called a bomb threat into a residence hall on the Macomb campus for the second time in as many weeks.

WIU says the call to Tanner Hall came in around 1:15 yesterday, causing an immediate evacuation of the hall's 800 residents, but that classes and other activities went on as normal.

They say a bomb squad from the Secretary of State's office, along with trained canines from the Adams County Sheriffs Department, but no bomb was ever found.

The all clear was given about four-hours later, and residents were allowed to return.

They're urging anyone with information to call Western's Office of Public Safety. A reward from a fund set up after several similar threats made last year is being offered.

A Chicago teenager, 18-year old Cameron McKoy, faces charges for allegedly calling in last week's threat. He also faces expulsion and other potential disciplinary actions.
