Three Dead Following Crash in Henry County
Three teenagers reportedly from Stark County are dead following a crash Tuesday in Henry County.

The Henry County Sheriffs Department isn't providing too many details about the crash, except that it happened around 4:15 p-m Tuesday southeast of Kewanee.

Deputies say the names aren't yet being released pending notification of family, but they say three people were pronounced dead.

Two other people were taken by helicopter from Kewanee Hospital to an unidentified Peoria-area hospital.

The teens are believed to be students of Stark County High School. Superintendent Jerry Klooster tells WGIL classes are cancelled there Wednesday and grief counselors are being made available starting at 9am.

The Henry County Sheriffs Department is still investigating the crash. They say they were assisted by police, fire and rescue crews from Kewanee, Galva, and the Illinois State Police.
