Some Galesburg Residents Busted In Drinking Party Raid
Several Galesburg residents are believed to be among those arrested almost two weeks ago during a suspected underage drinking party in rural Henry County.

State Police in East Moline released the names of the 22 people out of 64 total people arrested during the party in the early morning hours of October 27th.

Troopers say among the 22 are 18-year olds Nicholas Glossip, Tyler Inness, and Caitlin Tiehen of Galesburg, along with 20-year old Shane Spellman, also of Galesburg.

All 64 people arrested, according to authorities, faced Notices to Appear in Henry County Circuit Court in Cambridge on charges of Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.

Reports indicate police initially pulled a woman over in a Black Hawk College parking lot, who was later transported to Kewanee Hospital with alcohol poisoning.

Information gathered from that arrest and another traffic stop a short time later led Henry County Sheriffs Deputies and state police to a location between Galva and Bishop Hill.

The names of those Henry County authorities arrested aren't available.

Officials said the notices to appear were given because there was no way to transport them all to jail.
