More Car Burglaries In Galesburg
Three more motor vehicle burglaries and one motor vehicle trespass were reported in Galesburg yesterday.

This comes after a string of four motor vehicle trespasses in the same area yesterday.

Officers responded to the 400 and 500 blocks of Jefferson Street in Galesburg where each of the residents reported their cars were unlocked.

Sound systems, center consoles, and loose change were among the items stolen.

Authorities can't officially say the incidents are linked at this time but officers say it's probable the incidents are connected to a string of motor vehicle trespasses on Hawkinson Avenue, Tuesday.

Galesburg Police are reminding residents to keep their vehicles locked at all times.
