JUST IN: Soldier Homecoming Delayed Until Wednesday
POSTED: 2:27pm 12/23/08 The homecoming celebration for a Galesburg soldier who's served a tour of duty in Iraq is being delayed until Wednesday.

Family members of Lance Corporal "Robb" Fitch say his homecoming has been delayed due to weather causing flight delays and cancellations at Chicago's O'Hare airport. A celebration was to happen starting at 12:30pm Tuesday at Northgate Lanes in Galesburg. But family members say the celebration will now happen Wednesday from 12-3pm at Northgate, and is open to the public.

The family says Fitch is on a standby list for a flight that could still leave Wednesday evening, but nothing there is certain yet.
