Biden: "No Appropriate Contact" Between Obama Transition Team and Blago
Vice President-elect Joe Biden says a report due out later today will show "no inappropriate contact" between President-elect Barack Obama's staff and Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Blagojevich has been accused of putting Illinois' vacant U.S. Senate seat up for sale to the highest bidder. Prosecutors say in a criminal complaint that Blagojevich was scheming to use his authority to appoint Obama's replacement to profit financially or obtain an appointment in the new administration.

After the charges were filed earlier this month, Obama ordered an internal review of his staff's contacts with Blagojevich and is planning to release the results of that review this afternoon (at 3:30 p.m. Central Time).
