Knox College on "Obama Trail"
The Illinois Bureau of Tourism is trying to cash in on all the Barack Obama hype by adding Obama to the state's presidential trails.

The Obama trail includes The Old State Capitol, The Illinois State Capitol, Knox College, Grant Park and the University of Chicago Law School. Jan Kostner, deputy director Illinois Bureau of Tourism, says the travelers are being encouraged to take a three-day getaway to explore some of the sites.

"Families who watched Obama's road to the White House can come to Illinois to see where his political career began," Kostner said.

She says all four of Illinois' presidential trails are educational and the latest addition calls attention to the current events and rich cultural offerings across the state.

The other presidential trails include historic sites associated with Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant and Ronald Regan.
