WIU Ag School Establishes Advisory Board
MACOMB, Ill. (AP) -- Officials at Western Illinois University have established a board of advisers for the School of Agriculture.

School officials say the board has 11 members who were selected for their knowledge and vision.

They include a members of the United Soybean Board and the National Association of Corn Growers, as well as business leaders.

Their first meeting will be in the spring of next year.

William Bailey is the director of the School of Agriculture. He says the agriculture school is fortunate to have professionals who will help advise the future of the school.

More than 13,000 students attend Western Illinois University in Macomb.
