New Knox County Farm Bureau Manager Working With Outgoing Manager
The manager of the Knox County Farm Bureau is set to leave the post soon after just a year, but there's already a replacement ready.

Kristi Lange is stepping down from the manager's post December 10th, but in the meantime, is training new manager Kelly Wagahoff to take over.

Lange tells WGIL even though she's taking a job with a firm in her native Wisconsin, running a farm bureau is a good experience.

"It's a great organization to be involved in," Lange said. "This opportunity just happened to come up, but it is a great organization, and one that people can definitely make a career out of."

Wagahoff tells WGIL she's just completed training at other farm bureau offices and will end up tackling her first job right away.

"I definitely wasn't expecting it, and it was a very quick turn-around and everything," Wagahoff said, "but that worked out really great for me, just because it was nice to just jump right into it, and not have much time to prepare or anything."

Wagahoff says she was hired the same night of her interview, and started at eight o'clock the next morning, but that she's ready to go.

Wagahoff and Lange are working on final preparations for attending the Illinois Farm Bureau's annual meeting in Chicago, which takes place later this week.
