Quinn Reacts to McKenna's Blago Hair Ad
There's a new political ad running, and it again features disgraced ex-Gov. Rod Blagojevich's 'do.

A new ad from Republican candidate for governor Andy McKenna features Blagojevich's hair, but instead of being fixed atop of corrupt governors, as in McKenna's last ad, this time around the wig sits on top of current Gov. Pat Quinn.

When asked by reporters what he thought of the ad, Quinn said, "It's a free country."

"It's kinda goofy I think really, but that's the way he wants to run his campaign.... I'm doing a job for the people of Illinois and everywhere I go people understand the enormity of this challenge.... I think I've done a pretty good job in 10 months."

The ad plays off of a statement Quinn made, "The people of Illinois are a lot happier today," and talks about the state's financial troubles.

"I think people of Illinois are happy with the integrity of our government, the stability of our government," Quinn said. "A fellow with a lot of money can run all the TV commercials he wants but I think folks in Illinois, the voters of Illinois, are more interested in deeds and not his words."
