Plea Delayed Involving Meth Lab Fire at Mobile Home
A Galesburg man was to have entered a plea in connection to a fire earlier this year that was suspected to have been caused by a methamphetamine lab, but that's since been delayed a month.

Knox County Courthouse records indicate 25-year old Chad Moore was to have pleaded guilty last week to a host of charges including Class-X felony counts of Aggravated Participation in Methamphetamine Production, and other lesser felony drug-related counts, but the plea has been delayed until January 4th.

Moore, and 27-year old Sean Moore, among others, were arrested not long after the April 26th fire at 128 Loraine Drive in the Kimberly Terrace complex. The mobile home in question is believed to have been a total loss.

Sean Moore was to be in court October 5th in the case, but records indicate he never showed, and a $100,000 warrant was issued instead on charges of Aggravated Participation in Meth Production, Possession of Meth, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia, and Possession of Meth-Manufacturing Chemicals.
