Rash of Graffiti in Galesburg
Galesburg police are looking into a number of incidents of graffiti found around town Saturday.

Police responded to the first report just before three in the afternoon.
A man complained a building he owned on Lincoln Street was defaced with red paint that spelled the word INDOO.

At that property a makeshift skull was also painted on the wall.
Red paint and the word INDOO was also found on a building owned by Hansen Lumber along North West Street and on a silver maintenance box belonging to Burlington Northern Santa Fe near Ferris Street.

Another building on Grove Street also had the red word.
Other occurrences of graffiti was reported on property in the 200 block of North West Street.

Police have no suspects at this time and are unaware of the meaning of INDOO.
