SunCoke Moves to Illinois
(IRN)-Two months after the political campaign compared Illinois unfavorably to Tennessee, a corporate headquarters from that state is announcing a move to Lisle.

Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity director Warren Ribley says SunCoke Energy is leaving Knoxville, Tenn. He says the decision means 105 corporate-level jobs and comes after Illinois offered a $4.8 million incentive that included corporate tax credits. SunCoke makes metallurgical coke for the steel industry, and its facilities include one in Granite City.

Ribley had another jobs announcement Monday: that Intellihot, a maker of tankless water heaters, will be building its product in Galesburg, meaning 45 jobs.
