40 New Jobs Coming to Galesburg
Bridgeway Training Services plans to add about 40 new jobs to their workforce, but that's not all.

"One of our largest businesses is our data entry business and we have proposals that we're working on right now and if we are successful, it will create tremendous growth in this community. We're looking at 40 full time jobs, additional jobs and probably another 20 part-time that aren't mentioned here because it just asks for full time jobs."

Tom Colclasure, president of BTS spoke at Galesburg's city council meeting Monday.
The company received a grant from the city through the Galesburg Employer Training Program.

The $11,850 grant is just about 30 percent of the total investment Bridgeway plans to put into the expansion.

Bridgeway employs veterans and people with disabilities, it provides a variety of products and services to private businesses and state agencies.

The expansion would train new and existing employees on a new data entry system.
