Warren County Man Locked Up for 35 Years on Child Sex Charges
A Warren County man was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison this week for child sexual exploitation and possession of child pornography.

31 year old Ronald Seiver of Roseville was issued the sentence by US District Judge James Shadid on Wednesday in Rock Island. Seiver had been in custody of the US Marshals since August 24th of last year.

It was on this date that investigators say they obtained a search warrant to his Roseville residence and discovered 119 images and 34 video files of child pornography. The US Department of Justice says the child pornography recovered by agents included images of children under the age of 12 and in bondage.

Judge Shadid issued two consecutive sentences to Seiver: 10 years for possession of child pornography, and 25 years for sexual exploitation.

Authorities say they caught wind of Seiver's illegal doings in January of 2010 when Canadian Law Enforcement officials referred sexual exploited images of children on a website to US officials.

After 35 years served in prison, Seiver will be allowed only supervised release for the remainder of his life.
