Two Accused In Pot Bust Appear In Court
Two of the four people facing charges for allegedly trafficking 10-thousand dollars worth of marijuana into Galesburg made court appearances today.

27-year old Chaston Gomez and 35-year old Kyle Kaminski made appearances in Knox County Circuit Court today.

The two along with 23-year old William Powell and 38-year old Forest Norville were arrested last Monday after multiple police agencies set up a sting operation outside a home in the 17-hundred block of Indiana Drive.

Gomez, it was learned today, will be represented by Galesburg attorney Jeremy Karlin, and will be back in court December 17th for a preliminary hearing and a hearing on a motion to reduce Gomez's bond.

Kaminski will be back in court Friday at nine a-m for a first appearance with his public defender.

Police say Kaminski led the operation which saw marijuana get delivered to Norville's home, to the tune of about five-pounds worth.

Norville will be back in court a week from Tuesday, while Powell has a pre-trial conference scheduled for January 7th.
