Depot Celebrates Noon Year's Eve
The Discovery Depot Celebrated their annual "Noon Year's Eve" event Monday.

More than 40 kids were at the Depot to see a few special exhibits and the Noon balloon drop.

By noon, the sparkling grape juice was flowing as the kids got a chance to celebrate the holiday before their bedtimes.

Depot Director Denise Bradburn tells WGIL they've had lots of visitors over the holidays.

"We are a family destination here so we're looking at this as a chance for families to come together. I did speak to some moms up there that were college roommates and so they met here today and brought their kids. It's kind of a reunion for a lot, an opportunity to reunite with family members and friends and have something productive for your children to do as well."

The children's museum had about four additional exhibits available Monday.

Bradburn says parents are always looking for productive things to do with their children over the holidays.
