Churchill Student Facing Criminal Sexual Abuse Charges
Galesburg Police responded to the 500 block of West South Street, Monday after receiving a report of criminal sexual abuse.

The mother of a six year old elementary school student called police on the victim's 14 year old uncle after the victim had been acting strange the last two weeks according to the witness.

The uncle is a current Churchill Junior High Student and according to the report allegedly fondled the victim inappropriately, exposed himself multiple times, and forced her to fondle him.

Both children were in school when police responded to the residence. Neither of the children have been interviewed at the time of the report.

Child Advocacy Center and DCFS have been contacted about the case and said they would conduct interviews.

The 14 year old faces charges of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse - pending an investigation.
